Thank you, Finney

We lost our older dog, Finney, today. Old age and time crept up on him, and he passed on without pain or suffering, thankfully.

Thanks, Finney, for being an amazing dog for 10 and a half years (we only had you 9 of those years, but enjoyed every single day). Finney was the most beautiful German Shepherd Dog you ever saw. When we adopted him, the rescue league we got him from told us that he might be kind of aloof and unaffectionate, not a “lick your face” kind of dog.

Those of you who knew him know that he was anything but aloof, and was very loving and affectionate, and would lick your face till the cows came home.

Kathleen, Charles and I are sad to see him go, but are grateful that we got to be part of his life.

Sorry for your loss, Hamms. Pets enrich our lives and truly become part of our families, and losing them hurts as much. Praying for you all!

What a great looking pooch. I’m so sorry that your family has to bear such huge burdens right now. Praise Jesus for these things that only reveal how fragile we are without him, right?
